Warranty Information

ROYAL CROWN Limited (ROYAL CROWN) warrants DECK LOK, BROCK DECK, TRIPLE CROWN Fence and BROCK DECK vinyl products, subject to the conditions and limitations listed herein, to be free of defects in materials and workmanship that result in warping, rotting, corroding, flaking, peeling, blistering, or abnormal discoloration of surfaces. Product which experiences color change due to normal weathering is excluded from this warranty (including non-uniform fading and color changes resulting from unequal exposure of panels to the sun and elements.) For the purpose hereof, the term “normal weathering” means exposure to ultraviolet (sun) light, and extremes of temperature and atmosphere which will cause any colored or painted surface to fade, darken, chalk or acquire a surface accumulation of dirt or stains. The severity of these conditions depends on air quality, the geographic location of the property at which the products are installed, and other local conditions over which ROYAL CROWN has no control.

Lifetime Limited Warranty – Non-Commercial Applications

For non-commercial applications, this warranty is applicable for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. This lifetime warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser.

20-Year Limited Warranty – Commercial Applications

For commercial and governmental applications, this warranty is applicable for a period of twenty (20) years from the date of purchase. This 20-year warranty extends only to the original business or government agency purchaser.

ROYAL CROWN will, at its option, repair or replace such product, free of charge (including freight charges within the continental U.S.A.), F.O.B. ROYAL CROWN’s designated manufacturing facility. All other DECK LOK, BROCK DECK, TRIPLE CROWN fence and BROCK DOCK parts and assemblies have a repair or replacement warranty for one (1) year from the date of the purchase. ROYAL CROWN limited warrants only those products manufactured by its facilities.

The owner must give prompt notice of any defect to obtain warranty service. Notice must be mailed by owner to ROYAL CROWN Limited, P.O. Box 360, Milford, Indiana, 46542-0360 U.S.A. The remedies provided under this warranty, if applicable, shall be provided within a reasonable time after ROYAL CROWN’s receipt of such notice. Proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or other purchase document, is required when requesting warranty service.

To protect your rights under this warranty, please return the attached registration to ROYAL CROWN within 30 days of purchase. Warranty coverage is not conditional upon return of this warranty registration, provided you can provide a record of your vinyl fence, dock or deck purchase.

The product must be purchased from an authorized ROYAL CROWN Dealer and installed, operated and maintained in accordance with instructions published by ROYAL CROWN. ROYAL CROWN shall not be liable for, and this warranty does not apply or extend to, any failure, defects or damages arising from or connected with without limitation, misuse, neglect, faulty or improper installation. This warranty is void if all structural parts and components were not supplied by ROYAL CROWN.

Failure, damage, defects or malfunction resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident, lack of proper maintenance, impact of foreign objects, tornado, hurricane, other violent storm, flood, fire, pollutants, chemicals, or acts of God shall not be considered defects. Under this warranty and are not covered in any way by this warranty.

By acceptance and use of this product, purchaser agrees that ROYAL CROWN’s liability, and the purchaser’s remedies for any alleged breach of warranty, shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the product, at ROYAL CROWN’s option, as provided above. ROYAL CROWN reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute a product that is of equal quality or price.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY NOT PROVIDED HEREIN, AND ANY REMEDY FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE WHICH, BUT FOR THIS PROVISION, MIGHT ARISE BY IMPLICATION OR OPERATION OF LAW, IS HEREBY EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED. ROYAL CROWN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCONVENIENCE, LABOR, LOSS OF TIME, OR OTHER INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR LOSSES ARISING IN RELATION TO THE PURCHASE OR USE OF ROYAL CROWN PRODUCTS AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER ARISING FROM BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORT, OR OTHERWISE. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE DEEMED APPLICABLE BY LAW TO ROYAL CROWN PRODUCTS SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION AS FOR AS LONG AS THE PRODUCT IS OWNED BY THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER PURCHASER (NON-COMMERCIAL) AND/OR THE TWENTY (20) YEAR TERM EXTENDED TO COMMERCIAL/GOVERNMENT PURCHASERS OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY SHALL BE ENFORCEMENT OF THIS WARRANTY UPON THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HEREIN CONTAINED. NO REPRESENTATIVE OF ROYAL CROWN OR ITS DISTRIBUTORS OR DEALERS IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY CHANGE OR MODIFICATION TO THIS WARRANTY.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental or special damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, all of which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
